VRSF Race Exhaust vs Street Exhaust

Trying to decide what setup to go with for my e92. It?s my daily driver but I have a 5 mile commute from home to work. I?ve watched videos for sound clips on both exhausts however I am still unsure. I want something loud but also don?t want to be ?that guy?.

Anyone have any suggestions or insight? It would be much appreciated!

I mean some of the videos I've seen on their instagram and I can confidently say it is the best sounding e92 I've heard. Granted it is a single turbo, but with stock twins it still sounds great.

Now I have a high tolerance for noises during daily driving - my interior is completely stripped so I hear every rattle including the wonderful scream of the twin disc - so I would say absolutely go for the race version. Is it for everyone? Probably not, but it sounds like it is something you're interested in so you'll most likely love it.

I vote: race

If you're ok with loud noises and drone, go race. If not, go street.

Is there a clip of the VRSF street exhaust with stock downpipes? Sounds great with DPs, but I don't want to go full catless.

Does anybody know how the sound is affected by having a single 3.5 inch pipe vs two 2.25 inch pipes like the stock exhaust? I am seriously considering the VRSF race exhaust but after seeing people run HPF's exhaust with catless downpipes it might be too loud. However the black market racing one is similar but doesnt drone like HPF's. What would be the difference between these three?

I'm very interested in the race exhaust as from what I heard, the street exhaust is still pretty tame unless you're going WOT. Not to mention I already have the PE mod and apparently the street exhaust is supposed to be a tad bit quieter than that. Does anyone have the race exhaust that can post a video of the drone?

I'm tempted to go with the 3.5in exhaust just for the weight savings. My PE exhaust does sound good so I'd probably go with the street version. The race one like budget bimmers has sounds dumb loud for mine as a daily. Haha

Bump, any vids with the street exhaust on an otherwise stock car? I've heard plenty of vids with catless DPs, don't want that.

It does sound EXTREMELY loud; but for some reason I like it lol. I daily my car and it’s a 4.5 mile ride to work for about 10-15 minutes. I’m so torn

I have street and its prefect. Sounds stock at idle, under WOT it sounds amazing and it doesn't drone at all on the highway.
