Federal Law says it's legal, so it'll be hard to get the state to only recognize their laws. It's a grey subject though, good info to know now. I wonder if locking my glove compartment because a BMW has that option is the same as an actual safe.

I agree, but there has been a recent trend of states setting their own precedents in law to limit what the Fed have attempted to say is legal
