I will most likely attend the 2 events in Auguts in Tremblant. Allows pad change once for 2 events and back to stock pads after the 2nd event, with a little eeeeeek brake eeeeek in between

!!!

haha don't worry, we haven't had any meets... i am sure there'll be one coming up soon now that the ice is starting thaw.

I have the following performance items for sale for the 335i/xi:

JB4 with PlugNPlay harness for sale;used.
Matching JB4 USB cable for PC hookup for programming and diagnostics; used.
K&N drop in air filter; never used.
Aluminium front strut bar; used.
aFE dual cone (dry) cold air intake, with filter cleaning kit; used.
D1S 6300K White headlights; never used.

This is complicated. I have a new daily driver, so I won't need the winter tires anymore on the M Coupé.

So I plan on running this:

OZs with a new set of Rcomps (which to buy?) after the actual starspecs die (1 event left?)
1st OEMs with the new Starspecs waiting at Talon.
2nd OEMs ... with my actual summers (Michelins)

That leaves me with a set of summers that I have to pick up at Touchette I think were the Bridgestones Re050 Pole Positions...

Just suck it up, and put the new starspecs on the OZ for tracking. Use your summers on the OEM's. That's what I'd do!

LOL! Yah I forgot you mentioned that to me before. Too many wheel sets, especially since you can't even trailer them to events.

lol...you and your tires. i still don't understand how you have so many sets of tires lying around. go get the tires that are still at touchette, mount them on and go burn some rubber!

i think i might have to burn them for you if you don't want to use them

curious, what size are they ?

Oy vey dude. Let's burn up the crappy 050s and whats left of the SSZ1. Go buy NT01 and mount them on the OZs and lets get ready to party!

So I went to pick up the Re050 Pole Positions at Touchette. Only the fronts are good. The rears were finished.

So now I am looking for Rcomps. They wanted to sell me Michelins Pilot Super Sport as my dedicated track tires. He told me they have a 50k kms warranty. But going on different sites I realize that they are in the MAX performance category. And not in the higher EXtreme performance category as are the RE-11s or Star Specs Z1.

So still looking... I think the NT01 are the way to go...

yea if you are looking for Rcomps then you need the pilot sport cup and not the super sport. super sport is the new tire that is suppose to be in the same classification as pilot sport 2...

NT01s are also a nice choice.
