Oil leak , turbo oil lines

Hi All

Recently took my car to the dealer for a holiday inspection and they picked up an oil leak. I was told that it was leaking from the turbo oil feed lines and rear main seal. From what I have been told the leak is still minor but I will have to get repaired relatively soon. Is this this a common issue? The parts are not expensive but it’s $1000 + on labor costs to repair.

How serious can these leaks become ? Shouldn’t I repair them or just monitor oil levels and top up if necessary.

Oil feed line is not common. Rear main seal is common. Honestly $1000 in labor doesn't sound bad as they have to drop the trans for the RMS and getting to the oil feed line is a PITA.

This is how dealers make money. Find out for yoyrself first how big of a leak you have or if its jusy weeping.

What would be the easiest way for me to do this? Sorry im not super techinical

Had the o rings on the feed line replaced at 54k. Not sure how badly it was needed since my SA tacked it on when I took it in for CPO work.

I found the easiest way to remove the oil feed line is to swap (upgrade) the turbo

I thought of this but unfortunately the cost of pure turbo in South Africa is quite high.

Wondering how you managed to achieve 3.6s 0-60 and an 11.7s 1/4 with a rwd n55 stock turbo

Quite a few people have ran high 11's with pwg N55's. EWG N55's have gotten down to low 11's. PS2's are down to mid-high 10's now.

To be fair, he stated the cost of pure turbo is high.

This doesn't necessarily mean he is on stock.
