LED Angels

Anyone around Huntsville familiar with the DIY on an E92 and willing to do this if I supply the lights?

Are you just changing the bulbs to LED? If so it only took about 10 minutes on my e90.

If you're just changing the h8 bulbs, you can do it easily. It's not a hard job just tough to fit your hands back there. I recommend finding someone with small hand. All you really do is twist the stock bulb clock wise, pop it out, disconnect the connector and insert the new bulb in then connect the connector.

Ohh okay yeah that's a pretty hard DIY. Would you be willing to sell your old LUX soon?

We'll see how well it goes with the DTM first.

Your talking about putting in new rings to replace the old ones? Not just replacing the bulb? That's like a full day or two project and you have to heat the housing to remove the plastic clear cover. Companies charge like $500-$1000 for that kind of thing.

Hence the reason they are still sitting on the shelf.
