is this to help them get buisness or cars registered or just out the prep area showroom and on our driveways etc
What i am thinking is they must be able to then go on and offer me the correct insurance for my 325 d msport

I've used it a couple of times they email the dealer the cover note for them to tax it I think you will need to get the Dealer accont number best to ring in the evening (before 8) lines tend to be busy during day and they keep you hanging on

When you ring they'll confirm it's Chandlers when you give them the number

Just bought a 330i from BMW dealer and was offered the free 7 day insurance. You have to phone and get a full quote, and even if you decline it, you get 7 days cover. Designed to help in taxing the car and make things a little less hassle.

Garage List
And also offered by the insurance company (who aren't part of BMW) to encourage you to then renew with them. Pretty sure even if you don't take their insurance at the end of the 7 days they'll call you around renewal and offer to try and beat your renewal quote.
