Updated VRSF Downpipe with High Flow Cat?

Does anyone know if VRSF is redesigning the E90 N55 high flow cat?

Reason being, over on the F30 side apparently VRSF is working on a solution that doesn't trip a CEL on a stock tune. HJS Euro cats??

It's already happening

After our revisions we should have full CEL free operation guaranteed by Q2 2019.

Would the new catted version sound deep or raspy?

I'm fine tuning out the CEL, and was planning on ordering one of the current high flow guys in the next week or so. Should I hold off, or is it not worth the wait if I don't care about codes?

It's going to the sound the same and if you're not worried about the light, the current version is perfect. Most folks don't experience a CEL with our catted downpipe but the upcoming revised version will allow us to guarantee CEL free operation.

Any chance this is going to make its way to n54 AWD? I'd buy in a heartbeat if so!

Does the DP with the current cat provide cat readiness? Can I pass emissions in IL? And will the revised have the same cell count?

From what I hear, it only trips CEL if you are doing WOT pulls? Can you confirm this or does it still trip CEL in normal driving conditions? I have the same pipe but I’m using the CEL eraser with MHD so I’m not sure.

Carted downpipe will Cause CEL on N55, they're very sensitive. May not be immediate, but will pop eventually. IMO just go catless and swap back for emissions.
