Ticking only at +50mph?

2007 328i coupe 6mt.

Car sounds great on start, idles fine, drives great, BUT when I get on the hwy and surpass 50+ mph, the ticking starts up.

It sounds like a weed eater slapping against a poll,
Or a light stick slapping against something.

It seems to come from right behind driver dash, slightly below the steering wheel.

If I slow down it will go away, but even foot off the pedal rolling downhill at 50+ it still ticks. It only seems to stop if the car is physically slower than 50mph, has no correlation to RPM, AC, or anything else.

Ideas anyone?

Thanks for looking.
