Front Tires wearing more than rear?
When I bought my 335i I had a new set of Pilot Sport A/S 3+ tires put on.
That was at about 46K miles. Now at 70K and 3.5 years later, I am finding that the front tires are worn more than the rears. Contradictory to my thinking that the drive tires should wear quicker. The wear is consistent across the face of the tire, so this isn't an alignment issue with measurements being taken at the worse areas. Rears are at 7/32 and the fronts are at 5/32? Could this be because of tire pressure? Or is there another explanation? |
