Advanced Detailing: 94 300ZX-TT
Another new guy who called me after he got my number from the owner of a local auto spa who knows the limits of her own shop.
He already did most of the restoring, the interior is done with subtle touches, new wheels and motor mods. When i saw the car at first in the garage it looked great, until we pulled it out in the sun and i saw what i would be up against. I decided to use my 3M polishing pads, white and black combined with HighTemp swirl remover polish followed by their smooth cut finishing polish. You can still see the patina in the paint after i got done with the removal of the swirls. After claying only hals of the rear spoiler. The marring left behind after claying Removal of the nozzle to work on this spot All taped off ready for polishing Some spots had to be wetsanded almost removed Gone Some deeper scratches above the door to be sanded Left front fender after swirl remover Driver door before After Then the storms rolled in 50/50 with limited light Nozzle put back in place |
