I paid around 1400 over invoice for my car (335i coupe).

I like the taillights on the G37 Vert; they wrap around the sides this time instead of just abruptly end at the edges of the rear on the coupe.

My friend has the G37 sedan and I think the leather is nicer and softer.

I tell people the G37 will probably do 80-90 percent of what a BMW does for maybe 70-85% of the price.

If youre going to lease it then get the G37 and save some money. Convertibles tend to get thrashed and have lower resale. You'll probably be looking at a higher lease than the g37 Coupe. IMO its a chick car lol. I like the coupe though. They had some 08 g37's used and the interior was just falling apart. Everything had so much plastic shine and the seats looked like they had 60k miles on them. This was all of the used ones on the lot.

I'm very happy with my G37S coupe. It has 99% the performance of the 335i with a better interior (IMO) for considerably less money. Mine is 2 years old with 35k miles and is in very good condition. I have had a couple of TSB's performed but nothing has really gone wrong. Another perk of the G is the best exhaust note this side of $100k (something that a vert would take full advantage of)....

That award would go to the C63, hands down.

matt_335Ci - Congrats! You made the right choice.

Going from 335 to G37 would be a downgrade.

In my '07 w/ iDrive, there is a USB port I plug into. I am using the apple cord and it integrates right with the iDrive.

anyhow, I chose the e92 335i over the g37S...the styling of the g37S just didn't appeal to me. congrats on the new z4 though, excellent color combo

Very nice choice there. One of my favorite combos along with silver/red.

I have not seen that wheel before. Do you plan on after market wheels?

our past fx's interior was terrible.
i was in a similar boat, however after test driving the g37 i felt like i couldn't really get a comfortable long ride in it. Since i am assuming you'll be doing a lot of crusing in the vert think about the comfort (the seats, the lumbar, the steering wheel, the angles for your knees.
I have no idea how people say that the G feels like 80% BMW, to me it felt like a tin can.

I'm not secretly lurking anywhere. I still love the 3-series but the G is a great car too. Why is it so hard for you BMW guys to admit that both can be good???

Just because I have 1 bmw does not make me a BMW guy. In fact my company has over 70 Nissan Trucks and my wife has a 350z vert.

I think its a great car ... for the money, price and dollar/option comparison...

Well the 335i is the benchmark, but the G37S is damn fine for it's price. And they always look better in person too.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder I guess.

I still think they look like marshmallows in anything other than black. Especially the G sedan.

The g37 is a pretty good car for its price and I've seen some on the road and it does turn heads..although whenever I look at it, it seems a little bloaty to me but I mean the performance numbers are impressive and you know there's going to be a lot of aftermarket support for this car with the infiniti G name on it

My other car. I don't think it looks like a "marshmallow," or at least it hasn't been called that yet

The only thing that isn't tits about the Infiniti compared to the BMW is the engine. The big Nissan/Infiniti V6's are a little thrashy and not quite as refined feeling/sounding as the I-6's in a BMW, but the 3.7 Nissan sure had punch when I tested a 370Z.
