UUC Evo3 + DSSR for E90 xi
Hello all,
I want to buy the UUC Evo 3 SSK and the DSSR but I don't see any specific part number for the DSSR for my car. Anyone has already bought it and know it? Thank you! |

For those that have the UUC EVO3 SSK, how do you like it. I have been thinking about it for awhile and would love to hear how it feels from some who have it. Notchy, smooth, harder shifts, feel, etc? Also what about the modified CDV with the EVO3 SSK? Thanks.

Checking in on this for e90 XI

I am also interested in the UUC SSX and DSSR for my e90 XI but I was on the UUC site tonight and it doesn't appear that there is a link for the e90 XI. Does anyone know if both are available for the e90 XI and if so how to order this from them as it's clearly not listed on their web catalog... Thanks! PS_ EDIT -- i replied on an old thread then noticed that this is in the wrong forum really so I am cross posting to the XI forum

It's not cheap but it is much better than the BMW poles you can buy for $70. See my install in the DIY section for the 335xi: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=229346 It's a little work to put it in and the 335xi vs 335i is roughly the same install. Both require you to get under the car, unhook (but not drop) the exhaust and lower the rear of the trans after unbolting it's crossmember. My DIY details a trick you can do where you grind a relief in a non-critical spot of the pivot cup for the shifter allowing you to install it all from the top/interior of the car like a BMW replacement shifter pole. Much, much easier.

i have the UUC EVO3 and it is the best thing i have done to this car period. my only regret is that i waited until my car had 7k miles on it instead of putting one one the day i brought it home from the dealership.

I just ordered a UUC Evo3 today and confirmed that the DSSR is still not available for the e90 330i. When I spoke with the sales tech he said that he was NOT SURE that the 330I EVO3 would fit well on the 330XI and offered to let me return it for a full refund if it did not fit. Has anyone on this board installed the EVO3 on the 330XI? I have seen three or four folks who replied who all have 335XIs but hadn't seen any 330XIs chime in yet...? Also, is the installation the same for the 330XI vs the 335XI? Has anyone done it on a 330XI? Cheers. /Josh

cheers guys. any 330xi's out there running the UUC evo3? curious about any installation differences between the 335 and 330 as so far seems like most with UUCs are driving 335xis...

Pretty Definitive -- Let me know what you think
Hey guys, I cross posted this over in the XI forum for the AWD heads that are interested. I think it's almost 100% conclusive that the shift linkages for the gearbox for the 330xi and the 335xi are the same. Which means we're BINGO to use the UUC EVO3 in the 330XI as I know at least six 335XIs who have it and are loving it. See what you think and man if I overlooked something please post for goodness sake as I don't want to steer anyone the wrong way!!! yosh
My other XI Forum Posting on this topic with schematics from realoem
