Running 11's on pump gas
Hey guys, my goal is to run high 11's with just pump gas. Has it been done yet? If so how reliable are the cars that have done it. I don't want a car that has 600hp or anything fansy like that. I just want a high 11's reliable car that still drives well. Thanks for all the input.

It hasn't been done yet. Octane plays a significant role. For pump gas you would need something more than the bolt-ons currently available. I'm sure someone does it in the next months though.

it'll be real hard for u too get into the 11's without racegas. Why not run race gas, its better for ur motor when u run high boost maps. The only way ur getting into the 11's is with a racegas map and race gas. Full bolt on's do help aswell.

We ran 11s on 91oct and meth injection. But i don't think that would have been possible on just straigh 91. If conditions were very favorable and perhaps with an automatic. But even that is a stretch at this point. At least without upgraded turbos.

Get the latest piggy back, rip out the back seats, rip out the front passenger seat, rip out all the sound deadening material, replace stock doors with CF doors, remove all stereo equipment.
You are guaranteed to be in the 11's. (The car would still drive well, you didn't say anything about comfort) |

It would take a monster amount of power to do it on real street tires with just RWD. AWD is a different story.

why are people suggesting meth when its clearly not "pump gas" and defeats the purpose of this thread?

Easy
Its Very possible to do 11sec. 1/4 with pump gas. The landing from the drop from the plane is the problem...were working on that as we speak.
