By the way you need the installation manual too? I think I still have it some where.

I want to see how hot the engine is during hard runs so an independent temp gauge works better I guess.

Anyway I just got it installed, cheap and understated I like it.

6 rib 103.1" length for 120mm pulley.

Gates has a size chart, maybe 102.5" for 115mm pulley. They also have 102.0" maybe for 108mm pulley.

I may have said this before, but when we logged pre and post intake air temps on 7lbs, we saw a 25 - 35F degree change. Meth or an intercooler is a must. Also, if you can work in a BOV in the system, that would be cool too.

25-35*F temp increase at 7 pounds really isn't too bad. Maybe with running and heat soak it will get to the more usual 80-100*F increase.

On a 90* day, charge intake temps 115-125*F.

Meth/water/blue washer fluid injection is a strong possibility.
Pull fluid from the washer fluid tank. That way have a low fluid level warning.
Inject at the SC discharge or at the TB. WOuld not need much fluid injected, a single small nozzle will be fine.

that was on the dyno, out on the street we saw 150+ when it was heat soaked.

Vortech 3.25" 108mm Supercharger pulley

When compared to the 115mm ESS SC pulley-

-the back shaft mounting face is 0.020"(0.5mm) shorter on the Vortech pulley. It is very close and IDK if this slight offset would throw a belt. Can easily fix with 0.020" shim washer.

-the 6 rib area is the same

-the front shaft mounting face is 0.135"(3.5mm) longer on the Vortech pulley. This shouldn't matter as the bolt will still tighten and hold the pulley in place. This could easily be milled to the same length if it is an issue.

I didn't notice before and have not seen it in any of the install or kit photos, but on the supercharger itself, the outflow tract/tube on the supercharger is 'dented' in. I guess this is for clearance. The supercharger sits with the discharge nozzle/tube on the bottom and this 'dent is basically on the very bottom of this discharge tube. It is a 1"x4" dent/depression. It has been nicely done, but I just didn't notice it before.

Wow ok, thanks for letting me know. I decided to just stick with the 110mm but was curious if there's future opportunity to reduce size.

There is. But you just need to be mindful of the heat... meth kit is on the list for me.

Question on the belt, do I need to purchase the RPM version? Said it's made specifically for force induction vehicles with a better rubber or fine with the standard size?

For reference I'm getting a new belt for the 110mm it's K061025rpm on the Gates chart at 102.4 long.

Question on oil separator hoses. This picture shows three connections, 2 into the manifold which I have but one to a box off the manifold. I don't have that, just a long hose without a connector. How should I hook the hoses up provided?

Ok I just winged it. I had extra 3/8" gas/air hose so I threw on a longer portion to the connected that was suppose to plug into the oil separator on the manifold. Instead connected it all the way back of the engine block and blocked off the two ports on the manifold with the included connectors. Btw; ess says you can reach in easily to remove the hose from the two ports. If you're an actual man, with man hands, you're going to have one hell of a time getting them off.

I’m trying to follow along...

That stock 3 connector hose you had ran from the PCV port at the back of the valve cover to the bottom of the intake manifold (in 2 places).

So now with the supercharger you ditch that hose... and there’s no PCV lines to the manifold any more? (If I follow correctly it looks like you blocked of the 2 PCV inlet ports on the manifold.)

So now where does that PCV port on the valve cover connect to? (the new long hose you made runs from the back of the valve cover to what?)

The line from the PCV valve in the back goes to the the intake part of the supercharger. I'm also blocking off the purge valve inlet into the throttle body and connecting that straight to the intake part of the supercharger.
