Just last weekend I upgraded my __COMPLETELY__ blown out stock suspension (140k miles original shocks, struts, and springs) to coilovers and O__M__G the difference is insanity.
Before, I could push my palms down on the car and it would bounce like 8 inches up and down. Absolutely BLOWN OUT. Now, I can't even get it to move an inch. Maybe a half inch. Took it around some corners and *DROOL* it's so good. |

Nice work, I'll be there in a month or so with my 328.

Love to here E90s are still going strong after so many miles, I’m sure a lot of maintenance went into the E90s. However, that’s any vehicle that is kept for a length of time. I’m at 77,000 on my 2008 328I. It’s currently at the dealership getting its first brake job, and engine belt tension replacement. For whatever reason, it cost less to have this work done at the dealership, than at the Indy mechanic shop. I’m currently in a 2019 G20 330IX loaner. I much prefer the way the E90 drives/feels, over the G20. Not that the G20 is bad, it’s just doesn’t have that heavy, steering feedback, and handling of the E90.

Mine had a tick over 153000 a few weeks ago when it was totaled by a drunk driver. I gave it the beans on the daily, but I really took care of it too. Oil changes every 5k, new transmission fluid, new diff fluid, always topped up on BMW blue coolant. It was hitting 21 psi boost with no problems! 150k is a big milestone. Congrats!

I am a BMW fan myself but it really makes me sad that hitting 150k miles is considered such an event for these cars. I am at 80k miles but I will definitely not going to keep it past 100k miles. Already spent too much money for a car that shouldn't be this fragile

Yes, my dealership/service manager are really nice. I'm having the VCG done, brakes, and the ground cable replaced. I do miss my E90 though. The G20 is nice, however, it doesn't drive like a E90.
