Best lightweight flywheel and clutch combination
Hello, I would like to change from stock dual-mass flywheel to single-mass lightweight flywheel. I´ve heard a lot of this with different results. I know the theory and understand why is dual-mass flywheel used, but is there really change only in discomfort, or will it hurt also powertrain of the car?
Since my E90 330i (with N53B30 engine) is family car, I am not going to have some Stage 3 clutch. I would like to have car that is perfectly daily-drivable and also capable of some guicker (funnier) driving when I am driving alone (that is also why I think that E90 (or any 3er BMW) is so special on the market). Which combination of lightweight flywheel and clutch would you recommend me? I´ve found only SPEC and maybe a few "noname" solutions... |

Thank you. It means that the car would be a lot less comfortable? I am still not OK with that kind of "softenest" of the car. I have already removed CDV, installed BMW Performance intake and exhaust, but I am still not satisfied with gas pedal and mainly I hate that soft clutch with none feedback which nearly makes me think about automatic transmition...
