You remove the plastic woofer housing and there is one 2" hole for the green drain plug. I drilled two new holes for venting. I also cut out the bottom of the plastic enclosure and laid a thick bead of window sealant to seal between the enclosure and the bottom panel (so the sound waves from the back of the woofer are forced through the holes and don't go back into the car). The car bottom removable panel which normally sits against the shell metal needs to be shimmed about 1/4" to 3/8" so the air has a way to escape and does not cause rattles.

As you see in the picture, on the passenger side there is a power wire running in that area, so drill the holes close to the existing one.
