a Procede or Turbo Tuner mod? I assume that it is with the Procede, but does the TT give enough of a performance boost to make it quicker (0-60 1/4 mile times) than a stock M3?

Yes. They are fairly neck and neck through the 1/4 when both or stock. A simple tune like the Turbo Tuner give the 335i the edge, assuming the M3 stays stock.

Up to 80mph or so they are neck and neck from a dig...the 335 has a slight advantage at lower speed roll ons where as the M3 has the advantage at higher speeds. I have an M3 with intake, full exhaust, coil-overs, software and it's about 250 lbs. lighter than stock and it's around 320RWHP. I also have a 6MT 335i sedan w/ just a Procede (v.1.45) at the moment and my M3 is a bit stronger after about 100mph or so.

If they are even almost equal stock than wouldn't it be safe to say that adding 60 whp with the Procede would blow away a stock M3??

I have raced a stock M3 from a 60mph roll with my Procede'ed 335, and to be honest there isin't much contest.
I don't know about modded M3's....

I was next to an M3 recently and we both were unsure of the plans of either. He got on it though and then lifted slightly as I got on it. That lift was enough to put him back by about 1.5 lengths from 30 to about 80 with me still pulling. Had he stayed in it things would have been different but the M3 is certainly more sensitive to what gear it is in. |

Regarding the possibility of M3 being a bit stronger after about 100mph. Figures like acceleration from 100 to 150 in seconds or something.
M3 has peakier power delivery and on average at slow speeds the applied power to the ground is not much different between 335i and e46 M3. At high speeds M3 can deploy its high hp on the dynocurve constantly, because the higher gears are more close to each other. However, I would think that e92 335 is slightly more aerodynamic which should compensate this in high speeds. That's why I'm interested if there is a real data from high speeds or if this just a feeling of being faster. |

I haven't had my 335i to the track yet but M3 traps pretty consistently at 110-111mph which is about where I expect my 335i to be trapping when I make it to Gainesville.
