NCC Driving School @ Summit Point (Shenandoah course)

Where are people taking their cars for the tech inspection before driver's schools? Preferably closer to Columbia/Carroll County. Or will Ryan sign off on them?

you can take to AtSpeed for pre-track inspection. if you havent done them recently, you should probably flush your brakes

you guys only doing 1 day? thats like playing a football game and stopping at halftime or watching soft porn

you REALLY get more out of the experience by doing both days; taking what you learned on Sat and apply it with even more speed on Sunday. Shenandoah is a really good course to learn on, and once you get to understand how to take those turns, when to accelerate/brake, and how to pass, you'll be hooked

i know its not cheap, but you won't find many other track events that's less than $200/day; plus, you'll get top-notch instruction by people who are VERY enthusiastic about improving driving skills.

i wish i could join you guys, i have a charity bike ride that weekend that i've done for the past 6 years, but i hope to do the summer/fall driving school.

Never f'in fails; I sign up for a track day and it f'in pours. First time I'm going to take a car on the track in over 10 years and I haven't lost my touch.

Midwest suffering a drought? Sign me up for a driver's school at Mid-Ohio. I'll flood the fields.

I wasn't able to make it either day. I sheared two lug bolts on the driver's side front wheel on my E36 while changing to race pads late on Friday night. I went back to Baltimore and got my E92 to make it out on Sunday but ended up missing that day too because some stuff came up for work. What a waste of money!

I had the best time of my life. Having Dan Martin of Martin's Auto Service in Gaithersburg as instructor was even better. He was able to take me in his race prepped e36 M3 which was a lot of fun. I will definitely do this again in the future. Here is a link to photos that a guy was taking out there. I was in group C.

Aman was put in the Novice group and was not able to drive like he wanted. He had a 1993 Toyota Corolla in his group.
