WTT: My RED Interior for your Black
Testing the waters... any interest anywhere close to Dallas? My mint sport/premium red leather interior for your black interior + cash (or other value-add). <edit> This is for an e92. Front and rear seats, door panels, and center console. Last edited by Euclid; 12-03-2010 at 07:56 AM.. |

That's another aspect of the "testing waters" part of this post... What would e90post say is the difference in market value of the two? Honestly. What would people be willing to pay for an upgrade to a mint red leather interior? $100? $500? $1000?

I don't know why anyone would want to add cash to the deal. It's not an upgrade, it's just a different color. You want black, Joe want's red - even trade. Red doesn't cost any more than black when your order new, does it?

^ Black is way more common than red.
Demand > quantity = worth more

Simple economics. Demand determines what the value of it is. There is plenty of demand for red interior, much more than black. If someone is willing to pay to get it, then more power to them.

i understand supply and demand too, but you can get red/black from the factory for the same price. sure there might be more black on the road, but what is driving the demand if you can order either from the start for the same price?

I'd be willing to drive from Los Angeles to Dallas if the price is right.
Who's doing the swap?
