Eugene no longer with Procede??

I just saw a post that Eugene a long time subscriber of Procede with all his testing and stuff is selling his Procede!! I can't believe that i am seeing this...Makes me less confident about my purchase....I don't know why he is selling, but Eugene if you can chime in please inform the public of whats the reason...I am very curious because i read all your informative post and threads and i would have never thought you would abandon V2

Like Charlie (CEA 3), who now runs w/ JB2. While we may never know what happened, we can all agree that sh!t happens.

This should help you understand...

@Shiv: I don't like "nifty" 22psi . Such a bug is simply not acceptable. I hope you enjoy your 4 day's off, knowing about the problems of your customers. Unbelievable.

I personally did not see such spikes and I run 2.0.2beta but I don't like to check boost permanently using the boost gauge.

Time for me to call a spade a spade.

Apparently v2.0.1 is having some "issues". It is unbelievable for me that Vishnu does not release immediately a final v2.0.2 map, which is working stable. Shiv knows tuning the 335i and he knows his product. Such a map could exist at least since 2 weeks when Vishnu would be willing to spend the efforts. I like the PROcede V2, I like Vishnu as a company but when they are not willing to fix issues ( I am very confident they can ), the PROcede V2 is the wrong product for me. First quality, then performance.

I like the functionality of the V2 and expected at least a problem-free product. Rolled out conservative, first priority quality, second priority performance.

I am a BMW customer since many years. I am used to get what I pay for and money is not my first priority when I buy something.

Shiv seems to don't get this. He is happy producing power / torque records and satisfied with a 95% finished product. I am not. I still hope he will improve professionality and business behavior. If not, new companies/products are on the horizon which will be alternatives to the V2 and providing what I really want as well as treating their customers better. "You can cancel your order" is not the business behavior I am used and looking for.

Ive been thinking the same thing. While the PROcede is a great product, the "issues" everybody is having scares me. Plus the fact that I work for a dealer does not float well with BMWNA

Wow. But I can't say that I'm shocked because Vishnu never had a good reputation for customer service, product delivery & support etc.

Interesting, first Eugene, the one who swears by Procede...sells his..

Then Jonmartin, the guy who likes nothing more than to see Terry dead, now run JB2R...

Perhaps Eugene is also getting the JB2R...

If you guys haven't had the chance to run the JB2R, it's a monster...i have yet to race a V2, but i put a big hurt on 1.47 when we ran...

Honestly, I am suprised he lasted this long... shiv treats his customers like cattle. And saying things like "if you dont like the way we do things, cancel your order" is not something a bmw driver is used to hearing.

this is why i did not get the PROcede, and went with the SSTT. i hope they can get there act together and release a final version that works without bugs. its almost been a year since they started releasing PROcede's to everyone in bulk and since then, it hasnt work 100% for everyone without a limp mode or engine check light or something.
this scared the shit out of me as a buyer.
for a bmw driver to see CEL and limp modes and small issues for $1300 or more is unexceptable and should run 100% before it is released to anyone.

and to the OP, i was reading a thread to where shiv treated you in a matter that you didnt seemed satisfied, i hope everything has worked out for you.

This is bothersome... I've been following the thread on boost control with Eugen, Scalbert, etc and I don't feel real great right now. Something must not be right. Eugen has been pretty level headed about things, and doesn't seem to be quick tempered to make a rash decision. Things seemed to be fixed by the way Scalbert and Eugen posted, but then all the sudden he sells the Procede. I have mine out right now. I may have to just stay with v1.47 or v1.48 until this can be worked out. I need some reassurance here, as well as the rest of the Procede v2.0 users probably do. To be fair, I've never had one CEL or limp on v1.47.

And people questioned me when I said I was selling my PROcede v1/v2 because I thought Shiv's business practices were unacceptable.

Another reason that Helix will not let the Attache be rushed to market before its completely reliable on every beta test car. As of right now there are no boost spikes on the 15lb map. Doesnt mean its perfect yet either. But Im much happier dealing with a company that has more concerns about the current project, than the next one and the one after that.
