Cool e85 bluetooth content analyzers and installation kits!

Item Interest
What you see here is my ethanol content analyzer (ECA) solution. This is 100% compatible with the Fuel-it brand sensor installation kits at a fraction of the cost.

This will allow you to read the data stream from a standard continental flex fuel sensor and view the data in several different ways.

All ECA's feature interlocking connectors, a new 5 volt power supply, are prewired for upgradeability (Bluetooth and the digital display can be added after purchase) and feature upgradeable firmware via USB.

Packages are:

Package A - Standard ECA; $80.00 shipped - my analyzer with a 0-5 volt output lead for use with JB4 (or any other display / ECU that uses a 0-5v input). This will display your ethanol content over pin 15 of the JB4 harness (typically used for meth flow). You can then view your ethanol content via gauge high jacking, over the JB4 mobile app, and it will be logged as well. Includes a full 8 foot 3-wire harness, using OEM style GT150 female connector for the continental sensor (completely weather sealed), loomed in factory style protection, with a interlocking connector on the ECA end. Also includes 5 zip ties to secure the harness.

Package B - Bluetooth enabled ECA; $105.00 shipped - the same analyzer and harness as above, plus the addition of a Bluetooth radio (Android compatible only). This will allow you to view your fuel ethanol content and fuel temperature on your Android smartphone or tablet via free smartphone / tablet app I've written (available at the Google Play store), or any of the above methods. V2 of the app should be available in early 2016, which will include blend calculators and a revised interface. Perfect for MDH, Cobb or JB4 users using meth.

Add on A - digital LED display add on; $30.00 - Add a fully digital red stand alone LED readout. Can be added after the fact, and does not require JB4 or an Android device. This LED display is compatible with either of the above ECAs by simply plugging in the harness and placing it where you'd like. Shipping is free when ordered with package A or B, or $6.90 if ordered separately to the continental US. Perfect for MDH, Cobb or JB4 users using meth.

Add on B - Bluetooth module; $35.00 - For non-bluetooth analyzers shipped 12-10-15 and on. Add a bluetooth module to your non-bluetooth ECA, to upgrade to the bluetooth capability and functionality of Package B. Includes a clear heat shrink tubing and a zip tie to bundle to the ECA. Shipping is $6.90 to the continental US. Perfect for MDH, Cobb or JB4 users using meth.

PM me if you'd like to order or for international shipping rates, and I'll provide paypal info for payment.

They're so cheap and you can get them just about anywhere, so I figured I'd let you get your own.

I could provide an option to include one, but it'd raise the cost by the cost of the sensor. Roughly ~60 dollars.

Smile

Seems like a cool kit, and a great price. Are there any necessary adapters to attach the sensor to the fuel line?
Free bump...
And found these sensors for as little at 50$ here

Yes, you need a replacement fuel line that adds the female fittings to install the sensor inline.

You can use one of the fuel-it sensor install kits, or I can make a one off factory fuel line.

The biggest difference is cost - the JB4 only analyzer I'm selling is $40.95 shipped vs $129 for the fuel-it analyzer.

Also, my analyzer is upgradeable via USB. I have 4 extra leads for future expansion. This could include triggers based on content to kick on another fuel pump, etc.

Note that both my ECA and the fuel it ECA still require the sensor install kit.

I'm recommending their ES-1 installation kit, just because it's hard for me to touch it cost wise. I will still modify factory fuel lines for those that wish to keep factory appearance in one-off situations.

For an e90 - the factory fuel line is about 7 feet.

Here's a picture of one I modified for a LCI 335i with the two female fittings installed and the sensor installed between them:

I'll modify your fuel line for $20. You can either send me your existing one, or I can purchase a brand new one. You'll pay actual cost for the female fittings, the fuel line, and shipping. I'll just add $20 to the price.

Sold a kit with the digital meter.

Came out nicely and will look good in the glove box.

Gauge in action:

Shipped a couple more kits in all flavors (bluetooth, JB4 only, and with the gauge).

Tried out the red gauge - it looks pretty sharp. It's going to look pretty rad behind the buyers vent:

You should have it Monday. The red gauge is really cool. I like it better than the blue one.

If you're running meth, the only option right now is the bluetooth interface, or the stand alone gauge.

Is your meth scaled 0-5v?

I'm working on a way to flip between the two - but you'd never be able to input both into JB4 unless they open up another input.

I'm also prototyping a sway to display your E content in the dash. That should be coming in the next few weeks.

Two more kits shipped out!

ECA with gauge, and an ECA for use with the P3 vent gauge.

Red looks sharp. Way better than blue IMO.

If you don't have meth, you can get the basic package and run the gauges through JB4 (gauge hijacking, via JB4 mobile, or via JB4 for windows).

If you want to run JB4 as well as a gauge, I have a new one coming out shortly that will facilitate that as well.
