Question Best suspension upgrades to aid in Dragstrip launches?

I'm wanting to get my 07' 335i setup for hard dragstrip launches....I really don't care much about handling on twisty roads.

My car has 100K miles on it, so it needs a suspension refresh anyways...I figure I'd might as well optimize it for the drag strip. I'm already running the Bilstein B12 Pro kit...but the rest is all stock with 100K miles on it. I've heard the M3 guide rods help in the rear.....and also solid aluminum or Delrin rear subframe bushings. What else can I do to get this thing to transfer weight to the rear tires and get some really good 60ft times? I'm ready to order some parts...I just need to know what I need to buy.

Any info would be great! Thanks!!!

Diff lockdown and smaller rear brake kit that will allow fitment of 16" wheels with proper drag tires.

What about suspension components.....anything you could suggest? And LSD and slicks are are a good start.....but a sloppy rear suspension doesn't help anything. Are there any companies that specialize in drag racing suspension parts for these cars?

Some people will tell you firm, some people will tell you soft... Some people make one side firm and other soft to offset negative effect of axle twist. So if you are really serious you could invest into adjustable suspension. Video record your launched. Try diferent settings. See what gives you best results. LSD won't necessarily help. I don't know of one company that sells drag oriented parts for 335i as a complete package, one stop shop kind of deal. There are companies that make stronger half axles (you will brake them and the diff too if there is wheel hop or too much power and tire grip) There are companies that sell better prop shafts. There are companies that make kits for Ford diffs....You want mechanical grip. From m3 the lower control arms will help the most because are more compliant and better shock/suspension articulation.

Well, I went ahead and ordered the Whiteline subframe bushings, and also the M3 front and rear control arm kit from FCP Euro.

Hopefully that will make the car handle better, and also get rid of that lose rearend feeling it has. I'm sure that with 100K miles on it, all of the bushings in the subframe and control arms are shot.

Actually, some of those bushings get "better" with age, rubber get stiffer. It has been scientifically proven. There is a post on 1adicts

Well, either way......the new M3 arms are going back in. I can take a crowbar and move the subframe around..so I know those are shot.

I ended up replacing a bunch of bushings in my mini S a few rears ago.....every one was shot. Not that it can't happen....but I've never seen a rubber bushing come out of a car with lots of miles on it that was in decent shape.

Do you have a Diff lockdown? That helped me a lot with rear end sway.
I got one from Vvetish at N54 addicts.

Not yet. Do the diff lockdown brackets transmit a lot of noise and vibration into the car?

Not at all. At least not the one I installed. Vwetish, it was $165 I think, and it has a bushing.
I am telling you this helped a lot if you are FBO and any tune.
I had a lot of rear end sway when I did any hard acceleration and that has pretty much eliminated it.

Get the diff bracket and clutch LSD. Be sure to change all drive line fluid much more often.
And lighter wheels and flywheel. You need them light for acceleration. Lighter two piece brake rotors as well. OE is too heavy.
Get M3 sub frame with bushings. M3 rear sub frame is DIFFERENT from non-M3. Better welds and tube design in certain places
