Climate control knobs rubber deteriorating

I Noticed the rubbing around the climate knobs was really soft and if rub it hard enough it smears like clay. Does anyone know a vendor that sells just the knobs or rubber. Perhaps any part numbers ? I dont really want to buy a whole new climate control to fix this cosmetic issue.

I don’t think the knobs are sold independently- if anyone has created an aftermarket version (they aren’t available from BMW) some creative searching should find it on eBay; they do this for Porsches.

Alternatively, buy a used control module that matches your functions on eBay- they run $20-$100.
