Plazmaman N54 parts

Just wanted to let you guys know about a couple of parts Plazmaman have available.

Plazmaman make very high quality parts that are used the quickest performance cars around the world.

They are about to release the N54 inlet manifold and have a range of intercoolers that would fit a N54.

Inlet manifold is a no brainer

The intercoolers are not bolt on but would be fitted like any other intercooler. Fabricate some mounts and weld a couple of bends on.

Yep, thought it would be good for people here to know about there parts.

No need to order from the US when the Plazmaman intercoolers are better and on par for price with vrsf.

If you want better pricing contact Marty directly.

He can also sell you the ic by it self with brackets already welded on and the inlet and outlet already facing the right way to save you on fabrication costs, all you have to do is relocate the power steering cooler and make a plate for the bottom for the 135/335.

I just ordered my manifold and ic from him.

I thought he was doing a group buy when they were ready.
Im interestrd in a manifold but no pricing from him has come out as he said he was doing a group buy to reduce costs. But he sold you one?

Should post a build thread.

you can get it now you just have to pay retail, if you want the discounted price you'll have to wait for the group buy and when the testing is finished with Tony.

Build time is around 3 to 4 weeks atm

He is also willing to sell the plazmaman ic by itself with the inlet/outlet already correctly orientated for the 135/335 at a greatly reduced price compared
to the whole kit and on par with other brand pricing

Im going up to Sydney in the next couple of weeks and he is helping me fit it.

Your taking your car from Melbourne to Sydney to fit intercooler and manifold?
Or a bit more? Are you getting there motiv jd75 single turbo kit too?

Im getting marty to fit a number of things to my car I just don't want to advertise it.

As far as I know the manifolds are getting built and will be ready shortly.

The ic's are 1 to 2 weeks for 335 and he has 1 in stock for 135 and 1M

I was in Sydney visiting family and he took me for a spin in his 1m, the ic was extremely impressive especially in 41deg heat

When cruising that thing never went over 113f and stayed on 102f most of the time except when stopped at traffic lights for extended periods of time.

Can't wait to get it fitted

I'm only quoting what he demonstrated to me so it was easier to compare to other manufactures as thats what they quote

If you want to convert it get your self a calculator or is that a bit hard.

FMIC isn't quite that straight forward, would need to make a duct to connect to the engine fan or else it wont work at all. and although I do love plazmaman stuff and use it on alot of my builds in my shop, I think they've missed on this one sadly.

Have you been up to Sydney to get your build started?
It would be cool to see the intercooler and intake manifold mounted.

When do you think you will announce your secret build?

Hey,

They haven't made a bolt on intercooler its just a core.
With the prices of off the shelf intercoolers cracking over 1k at the moment it would be a worth getting a plazmaman intercooler made to fit.

Martymil has a bolton kit but its around 3k and the intercoolers are around 1k.

Martymil's kit for 135 and 1M is a complete IC solution with power steering relocation and upgrade.
This was developed on my car during ST turbo kit fabrication and is brilliant for consistently low IATs.

Plazmaman will not develop a kit for you, only sell you the core. Many have asked.

135i kit is $2200 complete.

1M kit is $2600 complete.

JDTuning also sells them along with a fully developed 435 kit but the effort involved with that unit is crazy due to the front bracing so obviously very expensive.

Happy with mine. Just don’t get Advan to install it. Attention to detail is nowhere.
I had to pull it all apart and refit and gap it all. Car looked like it had had a front ender badly repaired after their efforts.
