Help re Tyre sizing PLEASE

Hey guys,
I need some advice please. I’m new here...
My 2009 330d LCI m sport currently has
Front 225/45/17 8” rim
Rear 255/40/17 8.5” rim
I am looking to change the tyres...
I am considering 235/45/17 square set up.
Or
235/45/17 front
245/45/17 rear
I am looking for a meatier Tyre as the roads over here in Australia are not the best.
From all my searching I believe that these tyres will fit... I just can’t find anyone who has run this set up (there may be a reason for this...)
If anyone has any advice I would truely appreciate it a lot.
Thanks heaps.

Hi
I run Vredestein ultrac vorti and went from 225 front/255 rear to 235 front/265 rear with no probs.
I read somewhere that the 30mm difference should be retained, I'm assuming you have the deeper dish rears?

Hey guys,
In case anyone is wondering the tyres fit perfectly.

I’m now running bridgestone RE003 235/45/17 on the front m sport wheel and RE003 245/45/17 on the rear.

I’m very happy.

The RE003 in Australia is like the firehawk Indy 500.
