Trunk lid? That won't fit, the light lines directly below are angled now. The pre-facelift lid is straight. Otherwise, not sure what you are asking...

Good luck.

That means nothing. If the actual trunk itself is the same size it should fit right in. The lights are not attached to the rest of the body so it has no effect on anything. Its the same as the standard and M-tech bumper. The look completely different, but they are the same shape and both fit.

Judging by quickly comparing the two I would say it does. The outermost lights on the pre-LCI and the LCI seem to be the same size, which makes me think they just changed the cosmetic appearance of the trunk lid.

I would assume the bodywork where it meets the trunk would be the same so, it should fit. The real question is "Is it worth the cost of doing?"

Well...instead of getting a custom Vorsteiner boot lid, just get a BMW boot lid and 2 facelift stoplights...

I can't imagine it would be that cheap to do. You'd have to order all the little electronic gizmos that go with it as well since you couldn't reuse things like the lights or housings from your current trunk.

You'd also need a new front bumper to hold the grilles since they are a new shape. I'm pretty sure that all the new body panels can be retrofitted onto pre-LCI cars.

If you consider only the boot lid...the price may be comparable, I think. But if you factor in the taillights...it becomes a whole lot more expensive. However, I think its worth it if you have the money.

i am pretty confident that the new trunk fits, if you look at the pictures there is no diferens just the two small lights.

I think the bigger lights look the same.

It dont have to be very expensive to do if you just have the paicence to wait for a trunk in the scrapyard : ).

I like the blacklines on the older E90 better. The new ones cheapens the rear to me. In regards to the trunk, it should fit fine.

would be a good conversion for those that have pre-facelift e90s.

In that case you still don't have the CSL style lip on the trunk lid and your car looks like a mutt IMO. I never liked it when people put Evo IX bumpers on their Evo VIII's either though so maybe it's just me.
