Hey guys! long time lurker, first time poster. decided i'd start right by posting here. i've had my E90 for over a year, been through a lot including looks. currently on style 162's deciding if I want to go back to 161's and drop it on coilovers or not. Look forward to being apart of the E9X family for awhile.

2007 335i Sport Package 6MT . . . (version 2.0 . . . gone are the satin black Avant Garde M359 19x9/10 wheels with prerequisite spacers, fog lights, black grill brows, finned rear bumper insert, and aggressive flat bottom steering wheel. In their place, hyper-silver VMR V810 19x9.5/10.5 wheels with prerequisite spacers, fog light delete cooling ducts, chrome grill brows, standard rear bumper insert, and new less aggressive flat bottom steering wheel. Overall stance is lowered an additional .25" as well.)

Hello everybody!
So I just bought a 2008 328i sedan. Other than an e30 that I had a few years back, this is my introduction into modern bimmers. So any suggestions you guys may have would be greatly appreciated! As you can see, it definitely has some cosmetic issues that I need to fix. A scuff on the rear bumper, and a weird discoloration (seemingly from a bad DIY paint job) on the rear passenger door. Also the passenger door handle is in poor condition, as you can tell by the fact that it's covered with tape. And the trim is hanging off on one of the rear doors. Also has some minor things like cup holders getting stuck and having to pry them out, plastic faces scratched up, and the center console missing a tray or something. So I definitely need to try to find replacement parts for all that. I used to have a mk6 gti a few years back, I had it modded a decent amount, then it got totaled. But I'm in new territory now. As I said, this is essentially my first bimmer, so I have no knowledge of what customization options I have, as far as body kits, wheel options, or anything like that. So if anybody can shoot me some suggestions, or especially if you can point me in the direction where I can find some of these replacement parts I need, I'd really appreciate it! And if this post is in the wrong place, my apologies. |
