n54 from Auto Interchangeable with n54 from 6MT?
Hey guys,
I picked up an '07 335i 6MT with a bad engine, and recently bought an engine from an '09 135i AT to replace it with. I know that the rear turbo is different, as well as some of the ports on it (AT cooler outlet), but now that I look at them the flex plate is 6 bolt as opposed to my 8 bolt from the 6MT Engine.
Does anyone know if these engines are in fact interchangeable, and if there is a 6 bolt flex plate available for the '09 n54 to make it work with the 6mt? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
