Thanks!

Australia has the most amazing skies I've ever seen.
Watching the stars in the desert near Ulúrú was the greatest thing. It was like watching them in 3D!

And sailing the Whitsunday Islands aboard a 1902 sailship was plain awesome.

Dante - Amazing pictures. You are almost up to Astra's standard!!

Was the tall ship the Golden Plover?

I have been to Whitehaven and Fraser Island many times and felt like I was back there when I saw your photographs. Brilliant.

I need another holiday.

Cheers.

Thanks again!

The ship was the 'Solway Lass', you can see it at anchor in Nara Inlet at Hook Island in the last of my Whitsunday pics.

Hey Dante, I told you you'd love the drive down the Queensland coast.
Lamington, fiddle, they took all the good bends out of the road about 12 years ago when they upgraded it It is still fun though
Hey, you were that close to ChipTorque and you didn't call in and say hello? I'm sad now!

Glad you enjoyed our great country :rocks:

Cheers

What, they took all the good bends out???

This road was pretty extreme I thought, with one lane bits, 180° turns and nearly zero railing over sheer cliffs! Plus oncoming idiots speeding and this POS Corolla didn't even have anti-lock-brakes.
Of course we went all the way up to O'Reilly's.

Would have been a walk in the park and much more fun with the E91!

I didn't realise we were so close to you, we would have popped in for sure! But we didn't have too much time on our hands anyway.

Next time I would love to join an Australian E90post-meet somewhere, totally diggin' those barbies' you guys have!

Hey Dante, I don't see any pics from the Great Ocean road? You take any while you were down there?
