No air blowing out of vents, lookin for the culprit

Hi,

I get no air coming out of the vents, but can hear the blower motor running when I switch the A/C on.
I've tried different settings, min fan speed to max fan speed, with auto A/C and with manual A/C.

Then I removed the glove box and the air tube, and voila the little shutter (flap?) that's supposed to let air into the air tube is shut permanently.
I've pushed its top side in with my fingers, then the air started coming out like it should. However there's something in there which is supposed to control when this thing is open, but unfortunately I don't know how it's called.

I have a picture of the part, it's probably some sort of motor.
If you could tell me how it's called or what the part number is, or give your opinion if this could really be the problem, I would love to hear your feedback!

Thanks,
David
