I installed it without issue.

The download was closer to 23 gigs if I recall correctly.

I believe that is how much he has seeded, not downloaded.

You are likely right, that he is looking at the wrong figure.

It was a 23gig download all told (verification included) for me.

It installed in about an hour as I drove, without issue.

It may be too old, but 30 seconds is never enough time on either of my cars, you have to leave it for a solid 2 minutes for minute to give me the file.

use another flash drive

cic does not like san disk drives from all the ones i tried.

fuji film and verbatim drives work with cic

His issue is that the firmware on his CIC is too old... 2008.

Just started and downloading at ~6MB/s and already uploading at >1MB/s.

Does anyone know if these maps will work on the LCI E70 (and if the FSC code retrieval is the same)? I have a 2012 X5 and the CIC in it appears identical to the one in my E90.

I usually "deploy" new maps on my E91, then on E70

I own a 2009 E92 335i coupe..the car never had a map update since purchased..it shows in the iDrive version BMW NA version 1.2.8 Road Map North America PREMIUM 2009-1..can I still download the latest version?..or my car map version is too old to update?..thanks for the inputs.
