Yes it is. It's a BMWNA document that was released yesterday; not to mention it's in US dollars........

Do i want/need the Logic7 guys???
Logic 7 is a significant upgrade. If you're serious about your music, you should get it. I just got myself an 08 335 with it, and after having an e90 328 with the base stereo, I am happy that my car has the logic system. The first thing I noticed is the imaging; center channel is dead center for the driver and the passenger, which is quite remarkable. Then there's the extended frequency response. The standard system is quite good, actually. The logic system is quite a bit better. The vocals actually have body and warmth, they sound like a real person is singing as opposed to a tin box. The bass is clear, extends low, and has quite a bit of oomph. Highs are detailed without being harsh. Good stuff. I'm quite an audio snob, and I'm happy with it; it's MUCH better than the BOSE I had in my G35!!

Good luck

There isn't a chance in hell that you are getting an M3 for 55K out the door. It would be more like 65k.

I'm not risking it. I already delayed my June build to September to get the LCI updates so one more month isn't that big of a deal at this point. I just e-mailed my CA to add it to my order, which I assume will automatically push my current week 37 production date back to October.

According to my order (09 335i E92), there is a new stereo level in between base and Logic 7 called "Hi-fi sound system" - which looks to be standard on the 335 and an upgrade on the base stereo.

My 2 previous cars were an 03 Z4 and an 06 E90 330i. The Z4 had Hi-fi, the 330i had Logic 7. I thought my Z4 stereo blew my 330's out of the water, so I'm looking forward to what the Hi-fi might sound like in my 09.

Based on this new info, the 328i changes as follows:

$700 increase - base price
$350 increase - sport package (ZSP)
$325 decrease - Logic 7 ($825 increase on 335i)
$150 increase - cold weather pkg (ZCW) (now includes steering heat)

Since no other changes are mentioned, maybe this is a conclusive list. I wonder if the steering wheel paddles are now included in the ZSP vs. the $100 charge in '08?

It sucks that you can't get the heated steering wheel without getting the cold weather package. I hate that damn package! Sprays wiper fluid all over your car when it decides your lights are dirty and need cleaning if you turn your wipers on.

No need to complain, because this is user-controllable: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showpo...4&postcount=12

What I want to know is why the heated steering wheel is "incompatible" with the ZSP for the 135i, yet it apparently is compatible with ZSP for the 335i?

Also - bump to the question whether the heated steering wheel is part of the M3 ZCW? And what will the E90 M3 color choices be?

The Sports package on the 135i uses the M steering wheel, which is likely not compatible for the heated aspect. the steering wheel on the 335 sport is more conventional.

Any info on the price hike, if any, for the updated idrive/navi ? Would be nice if they keep it at the current $2100.

Actually, the Hi-Fi system you're referring to is the US 10 Speaker "base" system that is in the 328i and now the 09 335i. The "base" system in Europe is a 6 Speaker system. In essence, there are 4 stereo systems available from BMW, but we only get the top 3.

Base - 6 Speakers
Hi Fi - 10 Speakers (std in US)
Logic 7 - 13 Speakers
M Audio - Too many speakers (just kidding....there are 16)

See attached, it doesn't include the M Audio system.

We are going to end up paying $2,000+ for a similiarly optioned 2009 335i compared to 2008. Basically $2,000+ for a updated Idrive and shadowline Trim if you get sports package.

And this is assuming 2009's will be as negotiable as 2008. Do you guys think 2009 is worth it compared to 2008? And will it be as negotiable?

I'm sure it would be. The car market sucks right now and dealers want to sell cars. Once the 08's are gone you should be able to get the same above invoice as for an 08 today.

Poor Spark Graph.......may you rest in peace.......

One side note- I wouldn't be surprised if you could still get it as a custom paint choice for a premium charge by the stealership..........
