ok i know this has nothing to do with this topic but it had to be someones. The activation rules for this site are simply crazy. I get you want to keep members honest but ive seriously been trying to get access to make a post for hours. Now i have to wait another hour after making a stupidly simple post in another topic for which i really dont have any input just so i can make a real post to try and get some advice.

So now just to avoid retribution over my annoyance at getting site access i will try to contribute to this thread...

I have had good experience with ebay exhaust parts, but it was a full axle back for an RX8 so i dont really know about these tips you speak of. However my anti rice alarm does have me wanting to say stay away since these are just tips. If you want bigger tips get a bigger exhaust so it doesnt look silly

Not all of us want to drive a loud obnoxious BMW... IMO the stock exhaust with the flap open sounds just right and I do not want it to be any louder. With the Mtech bumper, the stock 2.5" tips look ridiculously small hence why I went for 4" tips, and not a whole new exhaust.

Hopefully mate!

My 335d because mapped, no dpf, causes so much black smoke that my rear bumper will be very dirty, after 2 days of a good clean

I am thinking, because these new tips are at an angle, an if i leave it to stick out a bit (not too much) would that help keep my damn rear bumper abit cleaner! Lol

Looks good, how do they look in person on an oem bumper? Pic looks like it's borderline crowding the cut out in the bumper

Page 9 of this thread has a pic of an e90 with these tips on an OEM bumper.

That's just a picture of an e90 that I can look at, in person. But not an e90 with eBay tips that I can see, in person. Thanks for the effort anyways.

Sorry, I'm not sure I understand what you're trying to say here but these two pics clearly show a comparison of an e90 with stock bumper. Top pic has eBay tips, bottom pics has stock tips...

I just wanted the input from someone who had them personally.. Like how does it look in person.. A picture will never owe up to see8ng it in person.

Yeah I kinda do.. My thing is that it looks a little crowded.. The tips themselves look great but I was looking at one of the several tip threads and decided 3.8 looks best & I can't find anything like these for this price in 3.8 so I'll probably just go 4... Regardless I'd probably be happy either way
