Whining noise from cabin fan when steering is turning left.

I have quite possibly the strangest issue I've ever had on a car before.

Whenever the steering wheel is turning left (even very slightly - as little as a 1 degree angle left) there is an electrical sounding whining. It is only when the cabin fan is on. Doesn't matter whether it is blowing hot or cold air.

I would probably put it down to a grounding issue but I wouldn't even know where to start looking.

Sounds like the bearing in the blower motor is noisy. Common for it to only happen when turning left.

Fantastic, thanks for that. It still works a treat but its such an annoying noise.
