**Wanted CIC Controller**

Hello Folks!

Somehow ruined my CIC controller when my alternator failed and battery died not sure if the AA dude might have shorted something when trying to jump it but got no power or lights on the controller and been told there is not a separate fuse and likely fried it by someone on the net. If anyone has one for sale at a reasonable price please let me know!

Thanks!

How did they try to jump start the car?

Did they jump start it from the rear battery or under the hood?

Check to see that the CIC is actually getting power first...

It could be the JBE was affected not the CIC.

Hi mate,

Firstly thank you for the link and the info on it. It's much appreciated.

The actual screen itself works fine and the radio etc is all working as it should. I asked on the E9X forum and someone said it would have been the controller. I was going to borrow a mates controller from their E9 series as they have a CIC and also was going to see if I can put a volt meter on the plug to check for power in my process of elimination. Just trying to cover my bases.

Cant believe the headache turning on my Air Con has caused as my alternator and crank pulley went and then the battery got sucked dry too! I was hoping for it to be a simple fuse but got told the controller wouldn't have it's own.
