Help half engine under Wot :/

Soo last week i kept getting half engine . read that cleaning vanos may be the trick so i did. Now its coming up again even after i shut down the car right away and it doesn't go away. even when i try clearing codes with mhd nothing. only after sitting for about 30 mins it goes away. has any one found a resolution to this , was thinking of replacing knock censors but people online kept saying it re occurred.
