Thanks, but I'm looking at getting carbon covers, I like the m3 mirrors but not nearly enough to pay that kinda coin for them. So I'm looking for input on the eBay covers.

I think I got them from Colorado N54 but I really don't like them much. They are made from....shoot I forget the name of the material but people make gun holsters from it, and it has like a carbon fiber sticker.

Ah, I see. I noticed them because it looked like a much darker, glossy cf than the Mash ones I've had. These are a bit too light gray and stand out too much for me now so I'm thinking about paint matching them or doing a real cf skin to them.

Humm, paint matching might look good. I too thought about trying to CF skin them this winter. Still might. If I do, I will make you a set.

Makes sense. It's used because it's so pliable/moldable when heated. Looks like the perfect spot for it's application on your car

Ebay covers are ok... need to get some UV block liquid polish or the ebay CF will turn brown

Mirror covers are tricky to wrap, just because they are so curved. Not impossible be hard to apply without creases

So I have a eBay carbon high kick spoiler and it never had issues (excluding when my wife hit it with the trash can) as far as I've damaged. That said I can get them cleared for free.

I'm more concerned with fitment. I'd trim tape causes issues I can permanently glue them. More concerned with the edges

Ouch sorry to hear about ur spoiler.... I never had issues with fitment, expect for a cheap rear diffuser that I had to modify to get to fit. The only real problem I have had with Ebay CF is it turning brown. Both my mirror caps and spoiler went brown, but my CF front lip and rear diffuser did not. As i said the trick to preventing this was to use a UV treatment spray used on headlight lenses. Good luck, hope whatever you end up buying fits ok

Good material to make a rear seat delete out of for example?
