Holy shit, that is HOT!!!

Yeah, those are some serious meats on the rear wheels. Damn. I broke down and followed the heard with Michelin PS2s in 265-30R19 rear and 235-35R19 front.

I'm going to Firebird on Friday after work with several people I work with. We're planing get a snack at the Awatukee Hooters afterwards (cause they won't let you race after a beer - which is GOOD!)

BTW I need to do that to my garage floor too. Was that a DIY or did it come with the house?

I might be at Firebird on Friday also. In ur profile it says 335i on order... did you get it yet? Do you have AA, TT, or PROcede?

DIY on the floor.... Just make sure you buy the two part kit... You have to mix the paint with some sort of poxy. DONT get the one part paints! everyone I know thats done those have ended up hating it... I beat the hell out of mine and it holds up. This is my second garage Ive done on my own... Only cost like $150-200 to do the whole 3 car extended garage. Pressure wash the floor first also.

My car is on the Carmen which arrives Port Hueneme on May 21. I expect I will have the car before the end of the month
If I do the electronics mod, it will be the PROcede but I probably won't talk about it on this forum.

Thanks for the info on the floor. I am going to have to do that.

We are definitely going to be at Firebird on Friday. I think everyone is arriving around 6pm. I will look for your car

Hey jusbechillin, I was the guy who asked about your drop while at the light on Baseline this evening. The car looks amazing man.

I was behind him for a bit; it looks sooo wide from the rear. :rocks:

Thanks man... Sorry I couldnt really talk, my friend in the passenger seat was on the phone... either way... you asked if I rub and the answer is..... The front is perfect.. The rears rubbed frequently even driving down the 60 when there were little dips... So I got the rears rolled yesterday... Now its perfect!
I have H&R springs in the garage and have decided not to install them.. I think the ride looks/drives great as-is.

So I went to Firebird tonight and am VERY disappointed... I have been 3 times so far and never had this problem.... I made one run after waiting in line for 1 hour... My stupid car went into limp again... 13.908 1/4 mile@ 93.14.. 2.176 60ft.... I think it went into limp because of too much wheelspin???? I had traction control completley off and burned out/wheelhop like no other... Can that throw the limp code? I do have the lower boost map from Shiv for my PROcede also... either way very dissapointed... I get my slip and am told to go back to Tech... I get there and am told to go home because I ran <14 with 2 people in the car and no helmets..... I have been two times before... one in my vette which I ran 12.86(5 runs) with 2 ppl & no helmets... and a couple weeks ago and ran 13.6-13.9 with no helmets & 2 ppl (3 runs)... I mean when I went through tech they know that I have no helmet and they put me down for two ppl as well as me telling them I will run 13's.... They need to get their $%#@ together...Maybe when I tell them what Im gonna run they could say... hey dude you have to have a helmet....Instead they took my $$$ and let me run once... At least I know for next time...

Dammit. I looked for you! I was the third person in line at 6pm waiting for the gates to open. I got two runs in with my 2000 Honda Civic (7:10pm and again around 8-something...) before someone blew up their motor at the end and we decide to leave around 945pm. My best of the two runs was 18.29 @ 75mph!!!!! Anyway around 9:30 I walked the staging lanes and couldnt find you. There were a lot of Buick GNs that were stupid fast and did you see that black Mecedes V12 coupe with slicks and line-lock that went 11.90 @ 126mph!! HOLY SHIT that was fast!!!

We bailed out at 9:45 and went to Hooters in Awatukee to get some dinner...

Sorry for getting back on topic, but is there anyplace with 93 octane in the Valley? On a road trip I used 93 and the car did feel faster, smoother. 100 octane is overkill and 91 is mediocre compared to 93.

I haven't seen it anywhere and I have looked. I guess just mix 4-5gal of the good stuff with a tank of regular 91 and that ought to take you up to 93 or so. I am curious exactly what the correct ratio would be on a full tank, to guarantee at least a 93-94 octane...
