Just had my 335i Walnut Blasted South Florida
Just wanted to let you guys know that I just had my 335i at 74K walnut blasted. Car feels much better!!! Think the before and after shots show how bad it was at 74k. The guy that did the work (Mark) was great and experienced at doing walnut blasting, he has done over 40 cars. If any one is looking to get this done let me know and will shoot you over his info.

I just had my intake valves walnut blasted by Mark at 68k miles and added a fresh set of new plugs as well as the walbro inline pump from SteveAZ and the car absolutely rips in 3rd and 4th gear with an increased smoothness throughout the rev range that it is absolutely incredible. I am no longer throwing the dreaded low pressure fuel pump code that I was getting before on my old tired pump since I was running E85 mixtures for over 2 years now. I was basically smiling from ear to ear the whole way back home at just how responsive it is now.
I wouldn't hesitate to go back to Mark to get work done as he is an upstanding guy that does outstanding work at very reasonable prices. Definitely get your intake valves blasted if you have over 30k miles and haven't done so yet! |

I also had this done by Mark last Friday and I was amazed, considering my 08 e93 only has 29k miles, the amount of carbon build up we saw, and he has the pictures. I only started tuning and modding the car in december. Very honest guy, for some reason or the other, I thought the price was $400 for the walnut blasting and he immediately told me the price was $300 and gave me back $100.
At that point, I figured I would just have him help me install the catch can, and I paid him for that. You get to talk shop and a bit of smack with a fellow n54 enthusiast (his current car is his second e9x turbo car so he knows his way around these cars) while your intake valves get cleaned for at a least half of what the dealership would charge you. My car is running much better, it was a no brainer! |

I want to have this done ASAP.
Running COBB Stage 1 Aggressive and I am experiencing hesitation during hard acceleration between 2.5-4k. No codes, new Spark Plugs and Coils. Car has 53k. I am sure the culprit is the Carbon buildup. I am in Miami... Mark, I am contacting you tomorrow! |

Another job WELL DONE by Mark out of SE Florida!!
Had 71,000 miles when I dropped my car off. A few weeks prior the car even started having a rougher idle shake. Immediate recognized difference after the blasting. Car Idles better and top end shifting never felt so smooth and strong. Haven't noticed a MPG difference but pretty hard in City driving to judge that. Highly recommend Mark and will gladly share his info if you PM! Before: After! :t humbsup:

I just had mine done at 46K on my E92 and the before and after pics show a remarkable difference but I don't notice any difference. My car ran great before and runs the same now.

I also had my intake valves blasted by Mark a few days ago. Car idles much smoother and overall the car feels great. My valves looked similar to the above pics, maybe worse. Mark is super cool and down to earth. I highly recommend Mark for this job.
