How often should a carbon clean be done? Just got into the n54, previous owner said he did it himself but not sure how much I trust him

This is a really tough question to answer and dependent on tons of factors (i.e catch can, leaky injectors etc etc).

Aaron, we can take a peek inside the manifold when you come in for service the week after?

Might as well take a peek while we're at it- I'll check the service records and see when it was done last. At $200, if it looks liek it needs it, might as well get it done. Meanwhile, I'm fearing but mentally preparing for needing turbos......

I have to get the car into another shop this week for a new water pump before I can get it up there. I'm near Princeton.
