Have upgraded from an S6 to an S7. Now I always use a bumper style case and screen protector to keep my phones in mint condition however on the S7 because the screen is curved at edges the screen protector I purchased has huge gaps around the edges.

Has anyone purchased a screen protector that covers nearly all of the screen and still allows the phone to work perfectly?

Forget screen protectors for edge phones, they simply do not work

I have this for my s7 edge:

Its been dropped multiple times and is used by my 3 year old all the time. I also just throw it on my desk every day face down. The bumpers ensure the face never touches the surface (unless you were to put it on raised surface). When its face down you can see the gap.

I've had it since April, and there are no scratches on the phone.

Cheers for that but mine is just an S7. I have a Spigen bumper case which is great but I want a screen protector too.
