You can fit up to a 295 on a 10" wheel, however, I wouldn't recommend it. 285 really is the widest I'd recommend on a 10" wheel. Fitting it on the back of your E92 is another story. Fender rolling will be a must to make them fit without rubbing.

Yes and no....
During initial installation of the D2 suspension setup, I increased the camber to give the wheel/tire more clearance up top. With the 235/35/19 and 19x9.5, it does NOT rub up top. BUT.... because the car is so lowered (more lowered than most), the tires are rubbing on the fender liner over huge bumps. BUT... a big but... the "tuning" isn't complete yet. I need to get this aligned, corner balanced, and adjusted to the ride height of my liking. Between the adjustable camber plates, height, tire width, and ability to roll fenders, I'm confident that it can be tuned to where it does NOT rub. However this will take hours of tinkering to perfect, and it just depends on whether you have the time (or interest) to play with this |

After lowering the car, I put a 12mm spacer up front, effectively making it a 19x9.5 ET21. I thought there would be some massive "poke" but not so much with camber at -2.5*
With this wheel/tire combo and a 2" drop, it did cause some rubbing issues. But.... the fenders haven't been touched yet in terms of rolling. |

These sit just fine with the fender at stock & mildly lowered height. But when you "dump" the car, it starts to camber in more, and you will feel that spacers are necessary when the tire tucks behind the fender. But again, if you get an alignment and bring the car back to OEM specs (very close to 0) you'll probably be happy with what you have

How come the VB3 19x8.5 doesn't come in ET35? This will extend out 5mm from the factory setup & should look perfect. Will this offset be manufactured in the future? This will eliminate the need for spacers.

19x8.5 ET40 is just fine, and well within the offset range for aftermarket wheels being offered for the E90 and E92. If you take a look at pictures of the countless VB3's we've sold, you'll see that it fits just fine. But if your intention is to be "hella flush", you'll literally need all the tricks in the book to chase the fender with your tires. You'll need to have more than just a 8.5 ET35... you'll need a 25-30 offset, 5mm and 12mm spacer, longer bolts, coilovers with adjustable camber plates, fender rollers, and 2-3 visits to the alignment shop. This is what I call a 8 hour tire change

Will the 19x9.5 ET33 stick out beyond the fenders when slightly lowered without camber adjustment? From the wheel offset calculator from tire rack, it will extend 20mm further out than stock.

^^ On the rear, it fits perfect. 9.5ET33 on the front + lowered, it will require fender roll. Camber adjustment is all relative - when you lower your car, your camber becomes more negative. So it gets adjusted without you even adjusting it, if you know what I mean.
Regardless, to go aggressive means you'll have to do a few things AFTER the wheels/tires are bolted on. It is not 100% plug and play. The info based on my car's fitment should be used as a reference, your actual experience may vary... depending on tire size/brand/type/suspension etc. |
