Interest Only GB for PS2 or Goodyear F1

Assuming we can get somewhat of a discount...would anybody be interested in going for a group buy for either Michelin Pilot Sport PS2s or Goodyear Eagle F1 G3-D3s?

Indicate your preference. It might be better if we stick to one sizing...so I will say they will be 235/35/19 and 265/30/19. EDIT: We've just started a new list for staggered 18" sizing as well. See the latest posts.

Just as reference...here is retail pricing:

Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 (TireRack Pricing)
235/35/19 $319.00
265/30/19 $324.00

Goodyear Eagle F1 G3-D3 (TireRack Pricing)

265/30/19 $265.00 (damn...these used to be on sale for $196.00 earlier)
(Goodyear's are eligible for $40 cash back up until May 29th)

Please make this thread manageable by quoting the following list and adding your name rather than just replying "i'm interested".

If we have a good number of names...then we can perhaps ask some of the vendors for special pricing...

I'm in, assuming its cheaper than I can get them for (about 10% off tire rack).

I'd also like the option of road hazard so when I hit all the pot holds I'm not spending $300 to replace it.

Yeah I think Tirerack's margin is pretty low as it is...we're probably going to need a lot more than just 5 people to get a good deal...I'm surprised more people aren't jumping on.

I just hope they dont get it directly from Tirerack and give us the tirerack price. Most of the shops I talk to say tire pricing is too competitive..and that they just get it from tirerack themselves..sometimes next day.

I don't think it's necessary to say "dependent on price"...obviously everyone is signing onto this only to indicate interest...if the discount is not worthwhile then people will not go for it. We will have to do another thread to confirm actual numbers instead of just interested parties...

My guess is that if we were to get maybe 20 people interested for sets of tires then we may be able to convince a vendor to maybe knock off some money per tire...
