When my CIC was retrofitted the telephone preparation coding was performed, making slightly less work when the combox gets installed. I have for instance telephone option in CIC.
I'm sure that Alpina will sort you out soon.
FYI, your combox is not compatible with your car.
And all the best with your combox installation.

And possibly not even your CIC.
Combox can be coded remotely but CIC require special hardware for the flashing.
Good luck!

I quickly realised this yesterday after seeing BC2010 on the box had my seller send me the correct E series part in the end. I know about sending off my CIC if needed but thanks for the heads up.

Is there anyone towards the South West that will do a drive in/out for the Kufatec system? I don't mind travelling if need be.

Thanks

Another successful coding session performed by Sam!

Thank you! Drove down from Norwich to Essex to meet Sam early morning yesterday, he coded my lci rear lights and added a couple of extras! Super service, no hassle and really genuine guy! Will be back for more!

Hi guys!

My service indicator has come on and since i only did a service on the car recently myself i wasn't able to reset the indicator. I was wondering if there is the possibility of pointing me in the direction in the West London/Berkshire/Surrey etc way of resetting the indicator?

Hi Guys, I'm not a coder as such but I coded the Alpina TCM 6AT flash to my car last night and WOW its a new car.

I'm in Milton Keynes and have the laptop and cable should anyone want this doing for their 335i N54 6AT car.

It takes 10 minutes.

Another idea for remote coding is a group buy where we meet up and a coder can do many at once which should mean its cheaper etc..

Good to know. As if somebody is near you and require something which you cannot do, I'm happy to do remote coding.

I'd love to do this on my 335i. Can you advise what cable and software I need?

This thread is started to share the details of the coders and not the software.
If you SEARCH, there are multiple topics covering what you are asking for.

So stop being lazy and do you home work.

Read the comment above.

All those who are after software / cables, search it!

Just wanted to say thanks for the install and coding my USB socket this afternoon. I love the digital speedo, alarm chirp and auto park wipers too!

Great work, methodical and I really appreciate your efforts in getting it all done to perfection!

Having USB has totally brought my E92 into the modern day... who wants to use CDs anyway!?!

Adding my 0.2 to say thanks to Sam for his re-codings yesterday. Knowledgeable guy on all these fangled modules we have in our motors. He even found a sensitivity setting for my auto lights which I couldn't find anywhere in my i-drive settings, and I definitely won't be curbing my rims any more..... At least the ones on the passenger side
Cheers Sam.

what is auto park wipers? and what does the chirp sound like hehe?
I wouldn't mind the digital speedo as i have my steering wheel at such a weird angle I cant actually see from like 30mph to 80mph so have no idea what speed im doing between those 2 lol

Hi Guys

I've just returned to another BMW 335i after a break of two years where I tried a BMW 645ci and a Nissan 370z, needless to say the 6 was lovely but too big, while the Nissan was lovely to look at, but horrid to be in, too rough and agricultural! So the 335i itch got attention and I've picked up a lovely one owner 2006/56 low mileage (just 11k) full BMW history spec'd SE auto. It's wonderful to be back behind the wheel, even if it's a bit older than my previous 57 plate LCI model.

I'd like to know if there's any coders near to Reading (Berkshire) that could do the following for me:

1. The Alpina Transmission Flash for 335i, if possible on my year of car?
2. Increase brightness of DRLs and Keep them constantly bright (no dimming on parking lights / dipped headlights)
3. Add High beam flashing with your security alarm.
4. Increase the tilt of passenger mirror when reversing (this drives me mad )
5. Add panic alarm on your remote, i've got the chirps already.
6. Wipers to park mode

I'd be hugely grateful and gladly cover anyone's fuel and time costs for the assistants.

Thanks
