Spark plugs are covered, call BMWUSA and have them confirm the maintenance and hand the phone over to the SA so they can hear it first hand.

OP fight the dealer to change the plugs. They are wrong. However, injectors are not considered maintenance items. |

there is a cbs entry for spark plugs. what does yours say? cbs can vary though depending on your driving pattern. so if you are at 45k and the cbs says its due at 50k i dont think they will change it. the spark plug interval is 45k though. injectors have no service interval and are not covered by CBS.

spark plug is maintenance so it should cover but not injector. I also have same problem as you, rough idle on start. They wont replace it unless your car throws service light. I would try spark plugs first, coil second and walnut blasting third. If not its your injector(s). GL

I told them about it and they said it was fine and I knew they were BS'ing. When I went to go pick up the car I took one of the mechanic with me to the car to do cold start. He witnessed the rough idle and said the same thing that the car is not throwing any codes. He said it was normal. I was like are you serious!! I was like take me out to the lot right now start up one of the pre-owned or new cars and If they have the same idle I would leave. He shut up rite there and said they will open up the car and see what's going on. And the injector was leaking or sumting like that. They will replace the injectors and spark plugs.
