n55 turbo/bov upgrade

Hey guys, Im looking to upgrade my turbo, Originally I ordered a Pure 750 but now Im being told the leadt time is until the end of April, longer than Im wanting to wait, Im looking at Speed Tech kits not but they dont have integrated bov on the compressor housing. Does anyone have advice on this? Can I just make a flange and move the bov to the drivers side intake piping and keep the electronic bov? I dont think i can just put a pneumatic bov on and eliminate it. Anyone with advice on this would be appreciated,

Thanks

There's a lot more potential with a speedtech bottom mount kit, but more complexity integrating it with your car's dme. You can add an n54 charge pipe with blow off valve ports, but you'll have more modification to make it work properly since n55's aren't set up that way. Also, those kits come with conventional pressure operated external wastegates vs. a vacuum driven wastegate like n55's come with stock. So you'll need to figure out a way to control that wastegate, or just run off spring pressure.

If you're in a hurry, April will be here before you know it. You can order a pure 750, and know all you'll need is to install it and get a tune. Depending how much free time you have, it may take you longer than that figuring out how to address the blow off valve and wastegate control with a speedtech kit.

Not trying to dissuade you from speedtech, that's the path I'm taking, but it's definately a more complicated path than the pure 750.

Check out the m2 forum on here, some f-chassis guys are getting really good results with the pure750.

I have seen that forum before, it does look like those guys are having success with the 750. The simplicity of that setup is what I was wanting too. Both Pure and Speed Tech kits would need to be tuned, would a tune compensate for an external dump bov and wastegate on the Speed Tech setup, even if it was ran off of a spring? Im just trying to explore other routes and see it the potenial outweighs the complexity if its not a major roadblock.
