Yeah I picked it up last year there, they gave me a once in a lifetime deal, had a little issues like ripped driver bolster and some older mods but I replaced the whole interior with a black and speed cloth m3 interior. I took the older mods out and replaced them with new/ fresh stuff. It's been really good to me no problems at all.

Hello Wisconsinites. My wife and I are going to be moving to Madison from Houston, TX in November/December of this year and just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Jamil and I drive a 2010 e92 335i. Looking forward to meeting you folks at some point in time. I attached a few pics of my car if anyone cares to see.

Down here in Houston we have a pretty tight e9x community and started a facebook page which has made it very easy to banter and coordinate meets. Does the Madison crew have anything similar to that? If not, I don't want to jump in the ring as a noob and start one, but would be more than happy to create a group.

And finally, I am wondering if anyone has any advice on where to live. We will be renting and want to live close to downtown or maybe the Middleton area. A lot of places I have found seem to be older construction or dated, except for ULI properties and they don't have any vacancies (except for their new building). Anyway, any help is appreciated!

Hey bro, nice ride and an early welcome to WI...moving here in November/December is gonna blow because it's the start of our craptastic winters lol.

The Facebook page sounds like a fantastic idea...non of us were motivated or smart to think of it obviously lol. If you haven't noticed by the thread, we are all light hearted and love to pounce on any opportunity to give each other shit.

As for places to live, try to stay on the westside. Downtown will be a tougher situation because the college kids will be here so apartments are semi hard to come by but possible depending on your budget and what you're looking for size wise and amenities and such. East side is meh but improving. There are places off of university ave not too far from downtown that you might find more appealing. PM me if you have any other questions or can help out in any way. ULI is good, tried living there all 4 years just couldn't swing the rent.

There are a few nice places around the downtown square also, try ButlerPlaza.net or look into the new places over on the 300 block of West Washington Ave. There is also always Lucky (777 University Ave) but thats premo $$$.

Another tip for you...
BLIZZACKS - 225's all around, you'll enjoy yourself a lot more.

Really? I think BMW wagons are ass ugly...for the one that's 18k-ish, though low miles, for 4k-5k more you can get into an n54. Just sayin'...

Need space brotha, N54's don't come in the vagons. MPG's are nice to have too. A4's are nice but feel cheap. I was gonna 3 stage intake manifold swap this bitch and run 330i software, should make me about 275hp. That wouldn't be too bad for a daily driver.

The mileage doesn't scare me anymore either, I think $2k into refreshing that car would be sweet.

Thanks for the location tips guys. Tobacco lofts is pretty sick but no vacancy. Oh well. Will probably be something east side though. I'm originally from Central PA and Pittsburgh so I can imagine moving in the cold and maybe snow is gonna suck balls.

All we do down here in Houston is bust balls too. Hopefully I'll fit right in. Haha. Do you guys have meets?

East side sucked Kennedy Place (ULI) in Atwood is a nice little place though. Seriously check out Butler Plaza, its on the east side of capital square.

There are meets in Chicago on occasion or just go to Noels on a random afternoon. Rememeber its not 70 all year round here anymore

I'll be up next week sometime to visit.
