that in no way ansered the question. jb4 has no additional power, and you were asking about why your times were not that great on map 5 and he said to use racing fuel and a jb4? how does that help? am i missing something?

with my current mods I am to try using map 5 instead of 7 unless I use race gas. In addition I should launch my car in 2nd gear in manual mode with traction control off. I came up with that info after doing a search on the forums about 2nd gear launch. i have to brake boost at around 2000rpms and shift from 2nd to 3rd at 6400rpms and after that at 6100-6200rpm on the rest of the shifts. I'm leaving in an hour so I'll post tonight my results, either way I'm going to try different setups to find my personal best. He suggested on upgrading to a JB4 because of the improvement in hardware compared to the JB3.

I'm on my way back home, the wife is driving... I sucked! My best time tonight was 12.96 at 107.06 mph and my 60' was a shameful 2.003. I can't seem to grip in 1st or second gear, I'm gonna give it a rest for a bit, it's getting hot here in south fl, tonight was 74 degrees.
I did get some great pics of nice cars including a zr1 and a modded new s4.... I'll post some tonight and some videos as well

2.0 60 is not bad what did you use to get your 12.9 was it on map 5? did you launch on 2nd or 1st? more pics of that sentra lol

so it seems your not getting good grip and thats why your times are bad. maybe you could get better tires?

it might be that, but i've had these tires on previous cars and they grip really well, next time I go I'll lower my psi to see if i can grab a little better at launch.

tires you have are really good unless they are low on thread how long have you had them? i know my tires were great new but once i had about 15k and went back wasn't the same or even close no traction all day

i've had them for about a month, so no more than 1500 miles

I'm going to the track today, I won't be taking my bimmer though, I'll be going on my bike, but some friends are taking their bimmers... I'll take pics and videos.
