Your right it was just "okay"
The beginning action scenes were very good. But the Safin and Blofeld characters just lacked as well as much of the movie. They wrapped up a lot of backstory in this episode, good or bad. Thing was I thought the female 007 character was rather good and a better movie could have been done with her and Craig utilizing more of the screen time. |

Okay is an excellent summary.
Personally, I'm done with Craig as 007. Mostly, it's because I think Craig is done being 007 and it shows. Walking around with resting bitch face is not acting. Time to move on as far as I'm concerned. |

I've not seen it yet. I'm hoping to soon. I think the direction they took 007 with Craig was the change it needed. I really enjoy his version, it goes back to the Connery Bond, more brutal. It is less campy than Moore, etc made it. I'll watch and hope for a correction with the next Bond that keeps it moving in the right direction.

I’d watch that. But I’m wondering if the next Bond will be even more diverse than just a white woman. And younger, in both cases to get younger people interested in the franchise. We’ll see, I guess.

I liked Atomic Blonde, but I'll have to disagree that Bond should be a woman. Sorry, Bond is a character that is a man. If you make Bond a woman then it's not Bond, but another character which would be ok but leave Bond a womanizing brutish man.

"Netflix announced their next action thriller of Charlize Theron. The Atomic Blonde Season Two will be a sequel of Atomic Blonde. Netflix also announced that Charlize would continue as the main protagonist, so the girl will again rule the most notable action film." Aug 16, 2021

Never been much of a bond person, never could capture my interest. I definitely do love me some Charlize Theron, she was quite good in that role, would love to see the character on screen again.

Yeah, same here. I always tried to like the Bond movies. I do like some of them. But didn't love them like I know some others do. I like Daniel Craig and I'm looking forward to seeing his last one, though I've heard it's not that great. Will still see it.

Last night, I watched Guy Pearce in Zone 415 and was pleasantly surprised. It reminded me of Bladerunner and the ending was an interesting twist.

I agree with the sentiment about Atomic Blonde. That was a really good action flick. I also agree that Bond should remain a man. If they want a 00 female character, name her something else entirely.

Exactly a spin off or overlap could work. But if they PC Bond the franchise is done in MHO.
